Jamaican Mission

On Sunday, April 19, 2009, Pastor Dan preached at Cedar Valley Church, Jamaica. Pastor Dan conducted the service in cooperation with Rev. Eniola Davis, Pastor of Carron Hall and Cedar Valley churches. Pastor Dan was in Jamaica as part of the Jamaican Christian Medical Mission. Cedar Valley is a beautiful old country church which is badly in need of roof repairs due to hurricane damage.

A Dedication
On Sunday, May 3, the congregation dedicated a plaque in memory of Lillian Kies, whose generous gift made our recent building renovations possible. The plaque was installed on May 4, 2009 on the exterior of the recreation building next to the office entrance. Please come and see this beautiful memorial.

Beautiful Hospitality

The first time I walked out the back door of the Carron Hall Church and saw the mountains of Jamaica stretched out in front of me, I just had to say that word, “beautiful” out loud. The combination of the sky and the lush green tropical landscape was almost overwhelming. “Beautiful” was the best word I could use to describe Jamaica, not just its landscape, but also its people.
